Blistering hot!!! Netgear MR314 Wireless router $44 or $14 @ Staples 11/10 - 11/16

Haha. Just got home from school and guess what was waiting for me.... NO, NOT THE ROUTER.... A rude message from Staples saying they cancelled my order. Sure hope they don't try to send me a box of paperclips!!!

Either way, a friend of mine was just at the B&M right by my house and he said they have the router, which if funny becasue they cancelled my order becasue they were out! Hmm... Oh well, time to go meet the manager of my local B&M!

Well, I guess that if it's not one thing, it's another! I just went to the B&M and they had them in stock and were happy to do the pricematch... But then they wanted the actual printout of the Coupon form. Tried to tell them I don't own a printer, but that didnt matter to them. I bought the router anyhow, and they said I have 14 days to come up with the printout and then they would give me the $30 when I gave them the paper "for their records".

Getting closer to really having a smoking deal, I guess!!!

I just called and they took my order without hesittion AND they told me it wasn stock. What kind of gams o these people play? lets see if my order gets cancelle as well.

For those who got their order cancelled, what shows up on your invoice on the staples website? Mine shows that the product is not in stock, but it shows they shipped out my CD/RWs.

Mine shows "Item not available" with $0.00 in charges. Also shows that they shipped out a bunch of no charge advertisement junk. Nothing charged on my credit card so far.

On a side note, I have a separate order for my MA101. They supposedly shipped it out with today as delivery date. Still hasnt charged my credit card yet...

(CDW has the MR314 for about $85 - $30MIR)

UPDATE#2:

Guess what was on my doorstep when I got in this afternoon???? That's right, the paperclips! I hope to God that they don't bill me for some darn paperclips! I'll just refuse the charge on the card and not pay for it! This is getting out of control. Luckily there's another Staples right down the road from my college, so when I get out of class tomorrow, I'm going to see if they can apply the $30 off $100 there!

I too got the call that my router order was cancelled, so I called a B&M and put one on hold for me. Went down there and picked it up earlier this evening. Talked to mgr on duty and told him my situation with the online order. He said no problem, and let me use the $30 off coupon. I asked if I could also PM Compusa, and he said no problem. "Just take it over to her and I'll let her know what to do..." After some trouble tryin' to ring up the PM and the $30 off, the girl ended up just doing a $60 PM. I left paying $69. Less the $50 rebate, a brand new wireless router for $19. If the Netgear rebate also works, money in my pocket.

I'm waiting for my PC card to arrive now...

I too was part of the "it is in stock" and then got the phone call. I called the local Staples and explained to the manager what happened and she was extremely nice about it and said they would price match and let me use the coupons. I made 2 separate purchases 1) MR314 router- pricematched to $99, used $30 off coupon, and get the $50 rebate(~$23). 2) Picked up a Netgear MA101 USB wireless adapter - pricmatched to $64.99, used $10 off coupon, and will get the $20 rebate(~$33).

All of you in the same boat may want to try this.
