The other fucked up part of this is that according to what I'm hearing, Dallas police were doing exactly what BLM and others have been asking for, more community based policing, non aggressive policing and an open/friendly environment when citizens ask to protest.

A year or so ago, in the wake of the shootings in Baltimore and Ferguson and the choking death in Staten Island, two police officers were executed in Brooklyn -- this feels very much like that.

When the media proclaims these police shootings as police murders of citizens and do so long before an investigation has started let alone completed, it is not surprising at all that some would be moved to violence. This isn't to defend the police shootings but to point out that the media, and many others, jump to conclusions and sometimes that activates borderline people to do bad things.

This shit is going to continue and:

* Cops will shoot and kill more citizens, mostly black

and

* More cops will die in ambush when the anger boils over

Just a point of fact, it's rare cops even get indicted let alone go to trial when it's a white cop killing a black man so I'm not sure why you think people need to wait until a full investigation is done when we all know what the outcome will be.

That's also ignoring that the DOJ has consistently found systemic racial bias in the precincts they have investigated.

You can blame media if you want but they aren't the ones with a history of racial bias.
