Then he shouldn't have it under his screen name that he is a mod.

We should stop crying on TV and stuff then when somebody gets killed and just fight back. Everyone thinks we are dangerous anyway. If cops are going to approach us with their hands on their weapons be default, we should do the same. Everyone was cool with the 2A and whatnot until they see what its like when people want to fight the government with guns.

This clash between the sniper (or whoever) and the Police was inevitable. This pot has been boiling over for a while now. Some people are no longer interested in being peaceful, shedding tears, or grieving. Now some people are angry....and well....this happened.

this is the most racist post in this thread.

This is why you have guns in the US isn't it? To fight back against a repressive government. Well that's what a significant amount of people in the US think that you have.

Yes. And this is why they exist, and why they should continue to exist.

When was the last time the Dallas PD was even involved in a questionable shooting? Nothing comes to mind over the last few years. It's a great disservice to lump all police together when they are all run differently.

It certainly doesnt help to do this but you cant stop a loan guy with a gun who is hell bent on destruction.

I think we need to nationalize all police in the country under a certain set of standards and practices. No more yeehaws running their little departments how they want.

So if we hadn't drone-killed the shooter, would he have gotten off the hook with the FBI because they couldn't prove "intent", just that he was grossly negligent with his firearm and white police officers just happened to be in his sights at the time?

I kind of wonder if you've figured out yet that Dayton in Minnesota, but Dallas is not, and if you can see how stupid this looks to anyone that knows the difference.
No shit sherlock. I kinda wonder if you have figured out yet whether Dayton, Obama, cummings, and others automatically indicting police as racist has anything to do with indiscriminate targeting of police in this case?

Some stuff coming out of minny now showing the cop was using the taillight/break light as pretense for pulling over castile because he matched description of armed robbery suspect. Guy had the gun in his lap after cop told him not to touch it. He may be involved in gangs.

As I always tell people, escalation with guns is always the final answer to problems.

It is my solemn duty as an American to ensure that firearms capable of mounting a *winning* resistance to a modern tyrannical government shall always be made available to the general public. That is the essence of true freedom.

In other news, the Dallas Police had a bomb-wielding robotic vehicle ready to deploy.

Welcome to militarized US police forces of the 21st century.

Next week they deploy predator drones over major metro areas.

There is nothing wrong with the use of a UGV with a explosive in the utility arm, especially when it was certainly being remotely controlled by a human operator.

The coverage of this is weird. They're saying that the shooter had a bomb and claimed that there were more IEDs (that weren't found). Supposedly when talks broke down they detonated the bomb with a robot, but I've also heard that the robot had a bomb which is weird. The optimal outcome is to use a water jet disruptor to disable the bomb without detonating it.

I'm sure that the Dallas shooter would agree completely.

Sure. Nothing wrong at all. Until this type of equipment is deployed enough that the inevitable human mistakes lead to innocent people being domestically drone-killed, the same way that Swat teams routinely raid the wrong house and kill people and their domestic pets. A robot with C4 strapped to it is certainly going to cause a bigger insurance claim than SWAT busting down the door - even if the SWAT team decides to unload a few mags for fun in the house, because why not - they've already fucked up, anyway.

But please, don't let me sour your disillusioned, and in my personal opinion amusingly naive, self-narrative.

I don't think water jets were feasible. The bomb was used to detonate a suspected bomb.
