Correct - even new releases.

Giftfox.com has a similar Netflix "get paid to try" deal.

*This* seems like the way to go, IMO.

no, you get 3 at a time by mail, (as many as you can get), and 2 in-store rentals (only 2 total in-store rentals a month)

Yes, it should still be working today. I think the special is through the end of the month.

I started with Netflix and switched to Blockbuster. I just switched back. With 155 movies in my queue (everything from new releases to older movies), Blockbuster usually only has about 10 available. It's not acceptable and just doesn't make sense from such a large organization. Netflix would usually have 150 of those available. The end result is I never know what movie will arrive next from Blockbuster.

The shipping times were the same for both...2-3 day turnaround. Blockbuster did lose 2 of my returns over the past 5 months on separate occasions. They eventually showed up a month later...don't know what happened there.

Blockbuster could be killer in this area but they need so much work with their inventory.

Ain't that the truth! With about 95 films in my queue, and only about 10 available for shipping, I can't help but wonder who handles their inventory control.

I'm also using the BB movie pass, but I'm doing the in store version. Good thing is that you can get 2 at a time for $15 the first month and $25 a month afterwards, so you can go through at least 60 movies a month if you go everyday.

Bad thing is that you are limited to ONE store only (i guess if it is a huge well stocked BB store it might be all good).

All in all, it is mighty convenient to drop by after work everyday and grab 2 movies for home.

With that pass, can you get games too, or just movies?

Just movies, there's a separate one for games.

I tried their site. I'm 130 miles fron their distribution warehouse. It takes FOUR Days for them to get a movie to me. I'm thinking about switching back to Netflix

My dad signed up on Wednesday. Got two movies on Friday (two days), one today. A 2-3 day response time when we are in the same city as the distribution place is absurd.

The rules apply to in-store rentals. You can't keep them as long as you want like the mail-ins.

They let me keep them for 2 weeks which is more then enough time for me and my backups

I live in the same city as the distribution (Charlotte, NC) and I put the movies in my queue on Monday night and they were here by Wednesday. That's not bad at all.
