Blockbuster Free One Month Trial

I didn't get the box, but I sent an email to customer service. Hopefully they'll be able to add the coupon code.

I called the csr # posted earlier in this thread-they gave me the extra two weeks when i said i forgot to enter the code

and, my ebates account received the 10.00 today. not bad for signing up just a couple of days ago

I signed up for the two week trial and when I went to cancel it after two weeks they offered me an additional 30 days. I bet they offer this to everyone who tries to cancel after the two week trial is over. Netflix is better than Blockbuster but Blockbuster is better than Walmart (not saying much). I was able to get three months worth of free DVD rentals using the trial periods

I had a membership to Netflix for a year & their service started going downhill so I cancelled. I tried the trial offer with Blockbuster & had no problems with them.

I just called the customer service number and asked if i could get the cooper code added to my account. The lady said it wasn't possible as a promotional code was already in the system... ( the two week trial is promotional) or some bs. Then I asked her if I could talk to someone who knew how to work the system. She told me it was illegal. WTF... oh well gonna call back again later. think i just got a dumb csr.

Not sure why some are seeing the promotional code entry and some are not.

A friend tried to sign up no promotional code entry showed up.

Came over to my house to sign up. promotional code entry shows on page.

Any ideas out there.

Thanks OP I got it to work. It wouldn't work via ebates and it wouldn't work in Firefox. I cleared my cache in Internet Explorer, went to blockbuster.com and used the LEFT link (not the TOP link) for the free trial. Then the promotional box would appear. I couldn't get it to appear with any other combination.

To maximize viewing potential, is it best to rent out 1 per day (every day) so there's always some coming to you?
Or do they wait for all movies that are out to be returned before sending others?

I just called a csr and she said that that code, COOPER, is no longer valid. It expired in September.

Went to cancel my BB membership (expired today). Didn't get offer for addt'l 30 days. It did give me 2 other offers tho:

unlimited per month, 2 @ a time for $12.99
unlimited per month, 3 @ a time for $13.99 (for 3 months then back to reg rate)

Well actually I went through Ebates.com and I didn't get it. But going straight to Blockbuster.com I got the code box. So used Ebates because I wanted $10.

well i signed up and ordered my first 3 dvd's on monday....they sent me emails that they shipped on monday. Its now wednesday and still not one dvd has got here. Considering the csr i talked to said they would ship out of thier IL branch to me...this is kinda bad. It shouldn't talk 3 days to get here especially since im in th middle of the state. Im sure there shipping center is probably in chicago. If it takes any longer than 3 days to get here then i will probably cancel before the membership is up and just go with netflix.

For the "in-store coupons" they offer in this deal, do you have to have a blockbuster B&M membership?
I'd like to be able to use the coupons, but not if it requires another membership I'm going to have to cancel.

just started my trial on monday... 3 dvds shipped tuesday, and I got two of them on Tuesday. The third one didn't come yesterday, it better arrive today. I'm just north of Dallas so I guess thats why they are pretty fast.
