Just checked my mail, I recieved this little booklet that looks like their usual Rent 1 get 1 free coupon book, but this one had a little card in it that states

"2 for 1 rental card" - this card allows you to get a FREE game or movie (DVD or VHS) rental (Including New Releases) with every paid game or movie rental through JUNE 15, 2004. Bring this card in as often asyou like!

Been seeing a LOT of BB threads related to discount/free coupons. Is this an indication that perhaps BB is in trouble? Or it could be that it's warming up and people are spending less time inside (watching movies) and they are trying to drum up business.

As long as they continue to only have 2 day rental for new releases, I don't care what kind of trouble they're in. And maybe they should try lowering the cost of their rentals to get more business. I know people that don't rent anymore because it's like $4.25 now.

True....not to mention that old movies are still around $3, when at most grocery stores (in my area) they are 2/$1.

Do they not send these to Rewards members? I've never received anything like this in the mail, besides the usual free rental coupons they send (which are only good for non-new releases anyway).

The few coupons I receive are the only reason I go to Blockbuster. It's ridiculous paying almost $5 for a DVD rental.

I have 2 cards from them and haven't received crap in the mail, they suck
