Blowing out cold air.

I just got my gaming PC, and it runs amazingly. The case i have has a fan on the front, 2 on the side and 1 on the back. The front takes in air, same for the sides. The back blows out air. Anyway, the back is always blowing out cold air, if i am playing an intensive game like planetside 2 or Skyrim, it still blows out cold air.

I thought this was a good sign as it isn't getting warm, but i thought i'd ask, just in case something was wrong.

Thanks in advance and if anyone wants to add my steam, my ID is: Pogolauncher

I too hate when my computer runs too cold. You should probably overclock your gpu, cpu and ram until this issue goes away.

I am not quite sure whether you are being serious or stupid...

Silly is the word you are looking for (I thought it was funny anyway). I would recommend a program like CPUID Hardware Monitor and make sure your temps are in line. There is nothing worse than fans that are pulling air out of all the wrong places. However, your configuration sounds pretty normal.

What case/build do you have?

AHAHAHAHA...
Thats my problem too!! so i do just that.. and well... my room gets too HOT..

I am not quite sure whether you are being serious or stupid...

he was being very sarcastic as one typically comes in with problems on the other end... meaning "Help~ my cpu is melting" thread..

Well. Sorry for sounding like an idiot. I like this forum but yeah. A little less sarcasm would be appreciated.

sorry.

so this is my take on it.
The average body heat of a human is typically arround 37C
That means any temp below 37C will feel "cool" to a human unless your a little warm... so 37C can actually mean give or take +5C because of the whole evap principle biology has with sweat...

So its very difficult to tell you whats wrong with you just coming in and saying "my PC is blowing cool air... is something wrong?"

Because we would need to be a doctor, put a thermometor on you, also take ambient room temp, followed by humidity in the room.. and ECT..

you get the point?

The easiest answer is that a good case is only 2-4C higher internally than the ambient air. If your room is at room temp, then the air blowing out would still be cool. Very warm air usually comes out of the GPU if it is blower style.

sorry.

My system (i7-990x) blows warm air out of the back of the case. This is only because the air is being blown through the Corsair H80 water cooler radiator.

Another person made the point and I will paraphrase it, if it is a hot day and you stand in front of a fan then the air will feel cool to you simply because it is moving and removing warmth from your body faster than stationary ambient air.

And let's face it, if you go back up to your original post again and re-read it then it was pretty funnily written, even if inadvertently, compared to the posts of others who would be really happy to have your "problem".

Pogolauncher, people read what you type, not how you feel, and sometimes not even what you meant when you typed it.

Once you realize that, your forum experience will probably be much more enjoyable.

I wish mine was so cool, at least you have plenty of overclocking/overvolting headroom.

It doesn't matter what temperature the air is. What matters is the temperature of the components. Use HWmonitor or HWinfo64

It just means you have good airflow. If you have good airflow, the temperature in the case won't build up.
