I have a blue orb installed on my MSI K7T Pro2-A and it was very easy to install. Just remove the gold MSI heatsink first, and clean off the thermal grease from the northbridge with an alcohol swab. Then I just used some adhesive I bought from Radio Shack and applied it onto the blue orb, then placed it on the northbridge and alined it properlly and let it sit for a few minutes. When I tryed to pull it off it was adheased well and would not budge, I can literally lift the motherboard by the blue orb thats how well its on there. As you can see this is very easy to do. As for performance you see like a -4C difference and this allows for better FSB overclocking. As you can see I am running a 115Mhz FSB stable, so its pretty much worth it.

can i use the double side tape come with the blue orb??

i prefer not to stick my blue orb there forever with the adhesive, i would take it out sometime.

so is the double side tape has good dissipation of heat that do the same job as the adhesive??

The double side tape is definately good if u don't want it on there forever. I hated it cause it did not even keep my blue orb in place at all, I was able to pull it right off without any force. I wanted it to stay on there good without being able to take it off easy. I don't have any plans to take the blue orb off the northbridge, I don't even see a reason why I or anyone else would want to cause it does a way better job than the stock heatsink.

If the holes on the board are a LITTLE too far apart. Just use a pair of diagonal pliers and turn the holed tabs into slots. Two snips each running tangent to the little pin hole and radialy from the center of the ORB. Don't expect to get it perfect. The pins are a little too complicated that came with the Blorb but will work. I used the ones that came with the original 'sink and added two little red paper washers to each pin. This makes the contact area a little bigger and increases pressure. These washers come with hardware packs (not sure what they do). Anyways with a little patience you can install the Blorb as usual and you get a pretty good mount that will still work somewhere else if needed. I cut off some fins to get around a capacitor and the fan passes that cap. by a pube hair but it hasn't moved. The thermal paste makes things easier especially if the Blord is lapped because it will almost hang there by itself.

heng1028: You cannot use artic silver unless you are gonna use the Artic Silver Adhesive. That is the downside. But a northbridge don't really need artic silver anyway, cause it doesn't get that hot, so you should be find with just the blue orb and some thermal tape or regular adhesive.
