But it's not allowed on a lot of standardized tests. TI-89 has everything a TI-92 has, but in a TI-86-like case.

That's true, but my TI-85 got stolen at the end of my HS career, so before I bought the TI-92, I called Cornell (my college) and asked them if I'd be able to use it and they said yes, so I got it. If I was still had a lot fo HS left, then I woulda gotten a TI-86 (since the TI-89 hadnt come out yet). But for High Schoolers now, I def recommend the TI-89, but I still dont think I will love anything as much as my TI-92.

I do consulting for an accounting firm and I see all the auditors use those regular accounting calculators. I tried using one for some simple math, and I had so much trouble...it was sad. You get so used to the functions of the TI graphing calcs, that you can never go back. I have trouble using the TI-8X series now that I've used a TI-92.

Games are like 600 bytes to 4000kbytes. You can store 160k of stuff, so a lot more than 7 games

Flash apps, though, you can only store 10 of (most are 16k, and you have 160k of archive)

I wouldn't unless you go to a private school or live in a rich community. A kid gets his calc ripped off at least once a week at my school, then has to buy someone's stolen one for 20 bucks, it sucks.
