It could be a lot of things, I'd start by stability testing your memory (memtest). Second guess would be sound or video card or drivers.

I had that problem a lot when i was on mine amd k6 -2 systems ages ago. Its either the mem chips or the mainboard most likely. I had that start happening after a while when i put a new mem chip in.
