I have been having Bluescreen errors lately saying:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

this usually happens on startup when i am just starting azureus.
Anyone know anything aout this problem or have a way to help?

It could be a lot of things, I'd start by stability testing your memory (memtest). Second guess would be sound or video card or drivers.

second the memory check. Mine was a bad motherboard which oddly enough ran perfectly fine in linux (that box is now a samba server)

Yup, try running Memtest to see if you are having a problem with memory. If not, then I suggest removing one stick and then seeing if the problem persists. If it does, try the other stick (remove). More than likely it's a hardware issue. I just went through this the other week. I finally pin pointed it down to a bad memory stick.

I had that problem a lot when i was on mine amd k6 -2 systems ages ago. Its either the mem chips or the mainboard most likely. I had that start happening after a while when i put a new mem chip in.

Mine was actually driver related, though over time I updated weak points in the system. It was a specific catalyst driver, I can't remember which, but I went two years on this system with odd seemingly untrackable issues (it did point to MMC as the problem). It drove me nuts, all my hardware seemed fine, it passed stability test after test. The problem did diminish mostly but it was one specific reinstall my machine was suddenly stable. The saddest thing is, it's about time to upgrade.

Most times if your blue screen is due to a driver conflict it would say which driver is causing the problem. Also, even if Memtest does not say that you have bad memory, I'd rule it out by removing one stick (if you have two) and then leave one in while the other is out and test that way. And then do it vice versa to rule out the other stick. This is exactly what I had to do since Memtest did not rule out the memory.
