BLUETOOTH USB Dongle - $20 - while supply lasts only

iocombo is *dumping* their USB 2.0 bluetooth dongle for $20 each. Shipping is around $5 for ground.

I used it with my Asus Mypal PDA. It's a good product and the transfer speed is not bad at all, the range is only 20 meters, but I don't need anything further than that anyway. I don't know how many they have in stock, but looks to me that the deal will die as soon as they run out of products.

hmm... it says the range is 20m (class 2) while also saying it is a class 1 (100m) device in the title, and yet in the specs section says connects up to 10m (class 3). wonder which is true...?

Anyone know for certain if it works with Mac OS X? I assume it does...but it is only $10 or more to get a brand-name "certified" OS X one. TIA!

Isn't bluetooth should be universal??? for my ericsson, it's just simply plug n play. Just set it to discover hardware mode and it'll detect my PC. Then transfer files.

ummm ... I guess it may be different in Nokia.
in ericsson, you can just go to:
settings > network > bluetooth > discover device

then it'll try to find another bluetooth device within its radius.
After it found it, the rest is just simply to send files from one device to another.

again, not sure about nokia

Just thought I would inquire. I've seen quite a few posts about bluetooth dongles over at Howard Forums, but no one has really mentioned the generic adapters; they've only discussed Belkin products, etc.

Yeah, Belkins work great with my T610, this one might be ok, might not. Just have to chance it and try.
