AFAIK a barebones one STARTS at the high 20's. The thing with the 325i is that if it wasn't a bmw it would sell for $5k+ less. You're paying a lot for the badge. If that's important to the buyer, and they don't mind the fact that a HUGE number of cars can kick their ass for much less money, then it may make sense.Originally posted by: Don_Vito

Where? The 3 series have insanely high resale - I would be very surprised to see a "barely used" 325i for less than the high 20s.

By barely used, I meant used with under 50K miles. I should have been more clear.

wow why r u so anti BMW?
nissan fanboyism showing??
Well, I like the M3 and M5, and I'm sure the 330 is a nice car too, and I like the 7 series, etc. etc. I just think that the 325i is the poor man's BMW. It's for the guy who doesn't care that he just paid a crap load of money for an underpowered car, because it's a BMW, and that's all that matters to him. As mentioned by others here, they are VERY expensive for what you get. It just strikes me that if you're not looking to spend more than the 325i price range, there are several other cars quite significantly superior to it, such as the G35, Acura TL, A4.wow why r u so anti BMW?

You could, but now you've just dropped $18-22k on a car that is about ready to leave warranty, and your reward is that you get to pay BMW service fees on anything that goes wrong. Plus, it's still slowOriginally posted by: krunchykrome

Holy CRAP. Drop a few K and you've got yourself a brand new G35 instead. Hmm, which one to pick...Originally posted by: JulesMaximus

This is more likely what you are going to find a used 325i for. Cheapest I found from a reputable dealer in my area with warranty.
