The new 5 series looked like a pontiac as well. Of course this thing looks more so. I swear to God they just ripped off the front of a grand prix and threw it on this. Christ wtf is BMW thinking now.

Am I the only one that finds the fact that they finally took their place as the number one company in luxury car sales, they begin to spew out this junk just a tad odd? I don't understand why they'd start introducing so many redesigned bodies so quickly when their old ones were such a hit, and allowed them to reach the top in the first place.

A slow adapatation of a new design would have been a good idea, but not a overhaul of alot of the current designs, and a few new models which give the Aztec a run for it's money in the esthetics department.

Not only is the 1-series unholy expensive but it looks like a Daewoo lanos, and with a scant 115 horsepower promises to be an underacheiver.

Big mistake introducing new numbers. The 3/5/7 categories work fine, so changing them only muddies up the product line IMHO. I'll take a 540i any day over anything from the 6-series line.

the suv looks like an over sized fiat uno and the 1series looks like a suzuki with bigger tyres cant understand why anyone would buy either of them expecialy snce they are so expensive and slow... and ugly

The 6-Series isn't new, it just hasn't been sold in the U.S. since 1989.

I'll have to see some bigger/pictures before passing judgment... but if someone had given me those pics and said "these are spy shots of the new Pontiac GTO convertible" I would have probably believed them.
