Too bad a loaded E90 3-series will have to come with iDrive.

I love everything they make. It's inately wonderful.
I wouldn't drive an X3 though. All the others are wonderful. Leaders in their respective classes in performance, luxury and style.
The Ultimate Driving Machine (tm).
performance? Leaders? Really?
Style? lmao
Luxury? This stands out b/c?....
keep bashing.. chances are you never drove a bmw..
I have actually, and I love the E39...but the new 3/5/6/7 series I just despise.
so you despise the e46? ahahah... lol..
Which proves my point. The 5mph to 60mph time for the S2000 is over two seconds _longer_ than the 0-60 time because the engine is so far out of its torque curve that it's pathetic. I love the S2000 and it's on my short list of newer sportscars that I'd buy, but it's not a car that will be pleasing to drive everyday because it's ill-suited to freeway cruising and normal driving.Originally posted by: JulesMaximus
*cough* S2000 *cough*Originally posted by: ZenmervoltWhen the torque is at high RPM, it's in a place where its essentially useless for the way people drive in real life.

BMW has lost me since a year or so. I hate the new lights on the 3-series. I hate the new 5-series. I hate the Z4, I hate the X3.
The only thing left is my M3, which they will surely break in the next release. The new M5 is an awesome performer but I don't like the fact that's it needs to rev to like 8,500RPM instead of the pure torque of the previous E39... not to mention how ugly it has become.
