Maybe not the kidnapper, but a person at least linked to the kidnapping.

Sixteen days into the investigation of Elizabeth?s apparent abduction, police said they still have no suspect.

Another dead end in the search for the girl. The SLC PD have bungled this from day one. This guy will turn out to be much ado about nothing.

Was that in the article you linked to? Sounds like they're still looking for the kidnapper but I only skimmed over the article.
I hope they find those two missing Oregon City girls.

I am not familiar with the Oregon girls, do you have a link? I have seen bits and pieces of it, but nothing to the extent of the Utah girl. I wonder why?
Let me get this straight... This guy stole (and then ditched) some license plates, traveled across the country, overdosed on heroin, and then checked himself into a hospital under a false name.Originally posted by: Carbo

Has there ever been a missing person case this long were the person wasn't?Originally posted by: SaltBoy

I don't get it. Since the rate of young girls disappearing daily is very high. Why is this one so special?
I do hope that they find out what happend. It'd be terrible if they found her dead like what happen to Chandra Levy.

They are all rich......
I can't remember when last time a poor black girl who disappears and made the headlines.
Not saying it's media's fault... perhaps it is because the family is rich that they could use that money to attract some attentions?

The FBI gets involved in ALL kidnapping cases. Just because the media is paying this one attention doesn't mean that they don't give the same effort on each and every case.

Their house was for sale for $1.13 million IIRC, but who the hell cares?
My parents house is worth around $300K, & they're not well to do at all.
