Go watch, really great all around. Really great DP and Direcor work on this episode, but that is normal on HBO.

They killed probably the best character last episode last season because they couldn't do anything with him. what they should have done is killed Nucky Thompson and make the Show about AL Capone. It ain't that great a show imo, just a little bit better then Hell on Wheels:biggrin:


EDIT: I just watched the first episode of season 3 and Gyp Rosetti seems to be a good character.

He wanted him to kill the driver for the guy who robbed his warehouse

As for the number of episodes it does say there will be 12 on Wiki. Its just that they don't have the exact air dates past episode 8. It does say the finale will be in December of this year.

When the show started they already had it written they would kill him at the end of season 2.

I'm interested in where they are going with the Van Alden character. I'm a huge fan of Michael Shannon and think this is one of his best roles thus far, so I hope he's still a decent sized portion of this season.

I do have to say that every time I see 'Gillian' on camera I want someone to shoot her. I like Gretchen Mol, but that character is just creepy/vindictive/insert adjective.

Once he lost the "contest" you could see a change in him right there. he has the offer from the Irish gangster...he'll probably take it

I'm just curious to see what he does...go full gangster or dirty work or what.

DVRd that episode of Rock Center just for the interview. I was underwhelmed by the interview, but thought the visit to the set was pretty cool. Also never knew that Steve worked as a NYC Firefighter before acting.
