Sigh...

Sure wish I could do more, but over the last 24 hours, I've had to attach 4 out of 7 machines to Predictor@home just so they would keep doing something.

I've got SETI set for priority 100 and Predictor set for 1 and still those same 4 havn't been able to connect at a time when any SETI WU's were available.

Scariest part is that I'm set to cache 2 days of work and still over 1/2 my machines ran out before more were available.

As if to add insult to injury, the Predictor site seems to go up and down about 3 times a day and over 1/2 the time I can't even see stats there, let alone get work. :frown:

Methinks BOINC wasn't quite as ready for 'prime-time' as they thought. :disgust:

Thunder, my machine are set to cache 3-5 days, and it are also out of work.
But then I run DPAD at the same time

I would have to agree with you on that point. I think there was a lot more demand than they were ready for.

I am set up with SETI BOINC on two of my machines and both have been able to get work units. Maybe they have just been lucky. After about 20 workunits though, I still don't have any credit for work done.

We have brought up an additional transitioner to try and cut through the backlog we have accrued. Since the beginning of the project we have already processed 2.7 million results. For comparison, the beta project had only processed 6 million through the whole life of that project to date".
