Apparently, none of you have ever been introduced to our lovely regional specialty: Scrapple.

Scrapple is delicious. I hate that I only get some once a year or so when family comes and visits from Delaware.

FYI: After eating 5 pounds of scrapple and taking a dump, you now have bologna. :sneaky:

I love a good scrapple omelet. It is like the ultimate pig in a blanket. Take a slice of scrapple, wrap around the egg, serve with syrup. Delicious.

I dislike bologna but love liver sausage.

Blogna is lips, eylids and sphincters.

But I enjoy all of those.

I'm a big fan of vienna sausages as well. Mix a can of those in with baked beans, and I'm a happy guy

I won't eat scrapple, or any other internal organs. Might be dumb, but that's where I draw the line. I'd eat grasshoppers before scrapple :^D

Same. I'm not even a fan of sausage. I like to know what I'm getting. Organ meat isn't particularly popular among your average Canadians. Outside of Quebec, you really only see it at ethnic groceries. Though "foodies" (hipsters that are hip on food) have taken a shine to it lately. I remember back in college we were doing restaurant reviews for the school news website. One fine young hipster fellow tried dragging us to the Black Hoof. A trendy Toronto restaurant that specializes in offal. Needless to say, he was quickly vetoed in favour of a place that makes gourmet French Toast.
