I have just been all over the NV Forums. It is up and working fine. Here is a quote from the Moderator:
We have received a few complaints about messages or topics that were deleted by the moderators. I am happy to say that each complaint was from the offending poster, and not from any of the regular users on the forum. The guidelines for posting messages are at the top of each forum. It is not a very forbidding list unless the user?s intentions are to violate the general spirit of the forum as a place for NVIDIA customers and enthusiasts to exchange tips, engage in topical discussion, or enjoy the interaction of other like-minded individuals.
We have generally not deleted messages or threads of a critical nature as long as the issues have been presented in a respectful manner along with relevant information. In fact, almost the only time attention is turned to a topic that is ultimately deleted is when another user sends a notice to the moderators with regard to a message they find offensive, or in violation of the guidelines to such a degree they are compelled to complain.
It is in recognition of those users who value the forum that offending messages are deleted.
It doesn't appear that they just randomly ban people ........ I think there is more to this than the OP is admitting to.
