I have yet to have any hair grow back and it's been over 3 years.

OP: More specific. The physics of electricity? Electrical devices? Electronics?

Probably all three, to be honest. I have all the time in the world to read.
Edit: This is for a summer hobby. As of now, I have a vague idea of what voltage/amperage are and how they relate, and I'm hoping to start building fun things, i.e. Jacob's Ladder or even a Tesla Coil. Yes, I'm aware that is probably a HUGE gap in knowledge.

Hopefully a better explanation of voltage and amperage:
Voltage = how much electrons "want" to move somewhere.
Amperage = a measure of how many electrons are passing a point in a given time period.
High voltage, low amperage: You've got very few electrons, but they very much want to move. A static shock is this. Some of the electrons on you want to move to something else with a different potential level so badly that they can ionize air, creating a spark. Lightning is the same thing, just with a wee bit more voltage. And amperage.
Low voltage, high amperage: There are loads of electrons, just kind of moseying through.
Also, this is my Tesla Coil page. Sorry if you don't like frames, most of it was made about 9-10 years ago.
It may not be an ideal coil design, and it's not terribly powerful, but it gets the job done.
