Very good author, the historical fiction is pretty interesting.

i've read all the saxon tales books so far, very good, engaging reads. i've started up on the arthur books, though it's a bit slow going so far.




in other news, george rr martin has decided that he's been working on the winds of winter over the last half year rather than a dance with dragons.

I just finished Rama 2 by Arthur C. Clark and Gentry Lee. I was kinda disappointed in it. I had a much harder time suspending my disbelief and swallowing what was going on in this entry than I did the first one. Still a pretty decent read, though.

Almost finished Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams; prior to that I've read the other 4 Hitchhiker books in order. The sheer absurdity and irreverence in many of the passages is very funny. However, I haven't found the books quite as engaging as many of Vonnegut's works.
