If you don't mind used books, you can usually get them cheaper at amazon.com or half.com
combined with coupons (half.com) you can sometimes get a really nice deal.

For example, I bought the Deitel and Deitel Java book for $1.25 ($2.00 shipping) from half.com earlier this year.
