Topic Summary: Anything good out there?

Nope. No one has ever written a good book. I hear that one may be in the pipeline though...."a tale of two...somethings"


Seriously, I just read "The Zimmerman Telegram" by Barbara Tuchman during a road trip last weekend. Great, great, book. IMO, it reads like a spy novel, but since it's a true story, it's all the better.

If so, pick up Founding Brothers. Had to read it for a class, and personally hated it, but I bet you'd like it (if you haven't already read it).

I ready Tommy Lee's autobiography entitled 'Tommyland' and I nearly had to put the book down and take a hot shower to wash the filth off. Man, the stuff that guy did is amazing.

That is acutally on my to-read list. It is currently waiting patiently on my nightstand. I am currently reading Elric: Song of the Black Sword. I haven't decided on it, but I can say that it is not a 'can't put it down' book. Before that was Regina's Song. I really enjoyed it, stayed up way to late to finish it. Before that was Robert Heinlein Expanded Universe. If you like Heinlein you will probably love that book, it is a interesting look at the attitudes of post WWII America.
That is pretty much what I have read in the last 2 weeks or so.
