Discussion Boot to Windows desktop times

Boot to desktop test on a Core i5-10500 Dell Desktop with Windows 11:

(started stopwatch the moment Windows' "restarting" message disappears and stopped it when the Windows Desktop appeared on screen)

2C2T - 26 secs

2C4T - 23 secs

6C12T - 20 secs

You can choose when to start your stopwatch. Just keep it consistent between the changed core/thread runs to see how the times are affected.

Curious to see how old or slower CPUs do.

Tried to see if the additional threads help the CPU get to an idle state quicker. Nope. Didn't help.
