I've thoroughly enjoyed Ali G and all of the characters over the last few years when he popped up on the internet but for the first time when I saw the movie and learned a little more about the truth behind Cohen's productions, I was actually a little disappointed.

I wasn't disappointed in his message as a whole but I was disappointed in myself laughing at some of the real victims he's exploiting in order to present his message, as well as his delivery method.

I'd still recommend that you watch it but keep in mind that some of these people are in fact real and have been hurt for reasons that they cannot help. I don't know how that'll affect you but it certainly was a little disappointing to me...

I have to admit the rodeo bit was funny.

It could have been SO much better, there were some good parts but just as many dumb/pointless parts.

I think if I had seen it the day it came out in the theaters, it would have been funnier. Since the movie is so short, I had seen bits and pieces of almost every skit in either previews or other promos. The only parts that were new to me were the wrestling scene and the car-buying scene (both of which were hilarious).
