I confused the warrior with some other critter you get at the end of one of the DLC. Hum which DLC; it is this critter that has like 5 or 6 robots around him and can kill you in a single range hit. Hum. Can't think of the name. I guess I killed the warrior a few times - that is the critter that sucks the life out of the Siren - er the evil dude used the red stuff to obtain enough power for the key ? I only have the DLCs that came with the season pass - there is one UVM mode I think.... Sorry been a month or so since I last played but I plan to play through another character - thinking of the Mecho if it is cheap during chrismas though I'm tempted to try the new DLC for xcom - the new maps sound interesting.

Never played on line so definitely no piggy backing. I think I ended up in mid 40's after finnising up the season pass DLC (before the UVM mode) and then I picked up a few more levels (4? 5?) messing with the level 50 bar-room fight. I had enough to mostly win the fights but not in the alotted time so I kept leveling trying to knock them off

I started UVH at level 52 but it was sooo easy it became a little boring

The DLC with the Season Pass are "the DLC"--meaning, the campaign based DLC. There are 4 of them: Scarlet, Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Hammerlock's Crappy Adventure of Crappiness, and Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep.
UVHM is just another difficulty level for main campaign + DLC packs, and includes level cap to 61. If you have characters at 52, then you have UVHM. I do believe this is also Season Pass, but you've said that you have it.
There is a newer, second "UVHM+" which raises the level cap to 72, and gives you access to Digistruct Peak. It's an end-game, very difficult arena type map that, upon multiple completions, will allow you to access "OP levels" You would never level beyond 72, but at each OP level (up to OP 8), the enemies in the game will level up, but will also drop appropriate OP level gear. Once you start unlocking these, you can set any playthrough up to whatever OP level you have unlocked. So if you are up to OP 5, you can start a game at OP 0 (72) and up to OP 5, all while using gear up to OP 5....it's simpler than it sounds.
That "Warrior" you are referring to sounds like Hyperius--the first Raid boss in Scarlet DLC. He has 4 minions that will charge his shield.
The only DLC that it sounds like you don't have, with new maps, would be the Digistruct + level cap upgrade. It offers one map, but the potential to gain 11 more levels, so it's worth it. Also, digistruct is fun if you like very hard content. It is meant for teams, but it can definitely be solo'd with most classes.
Fair warning, though--most UVHM content, and especially OP levels, are somewhat broken to the point where there are only a few weapon combos and builds out there that do not make it utterly frustrating and beyond tedious. Regular UVHM is fine as long as you be sure to slag everything first (this already annoys a lot of people), but the health pool and regen for OP enemies is just way too high for many weapons in the game to ever be effective.
Also, the various classes and their health/survival-based trees are completely irrelevant at OP levels. You will be one-shot (well, two shot; you can't be one-shot, technically, but if you are hit with an elemental bullet or two bullets from any number of enemies) by everything, regardless of skill points wasted in survival trees. Moxxi guns are almost required for this content.
