The bullets that are absorbed (78% chance in the shield I farmed. 94% is the highest for The Sham) does not hurt you (Not taking health or shield down) and get the ammo in your backpack.

Just played around again with all the weapons in every possible configuration by loading them up through the edittor. Really do not like the "Bison" as a sniper gun at all. Sure it his hard, but the lack of scope, massive recoil, slow to center, and slow fire rate make using it impractical most of the time. Without the zoom you can't be nearly as far away as other snipers to even start an engagement. Also the lack of a good sight means landing crit shots is much harder. MUCH harder. Sure when they land they are harder hitting crits, but when I can 1 shot 1 kill on crits with other sniper rifles, that gun just blows.

Still the Bitch is the best SMG in the game bar none. Infinity as well for a pistol. Just being able to stand back and lay down suppressive fire from sniper distance and still land crits without ever having to reload or stop makes the game stupidly easy.

You should get BL 1 then, for the different maps and story, powers, guns, and gameplay.

Same here. I heard a lot of negative on BL1 and just skipped it. Honestly, I'm glad I did because BL2 felt fresh as I hear a lot of complaints about it not being different enough.

The fucked up thing is I do have BL1 and I tried it for like 10 minutes before I closed and never played it again. I think what turned me off was jumping right into multiplayer and not playing the story mode. This time around I just started up the story and I have done every mission I have come across so far. 27 hours played and I am on like Chapter 10.

I'm thinking of buying the season pass for BL2, it comes with all the DLC right?

EDIT: Nope I was wrong Mechro and Season Pass are 2 different things.

Did anybody happen to have problems loading the Mecromancer pack?? I preordered, but the menu says my downlodable content is corrupted. Steam says the Mecromancer pack is available but when I click play nothing happens. The frustrating part is that the menu of the game says my downloadable content is corrupted, but offers no options to delete or re-download it. The rest of the game runs fine, I just cant play the Mecromancer content. I dont really want to uninstall and redownload the entire game just to play one class, but there appears no option to redownload the extra content alone.

Nice catch, but unfortunately another "in your face" to single player gamers. I really like the game, but I wish sometimes it was more single player friendly.

So who is playing the new DLC that came out today? It looks interesting but from what I have read you need a pretty high level character to play it. I have been doing a bunch of single runs so far (no TVHM) so I'm not sure if a level 35 character is going to cut it.
