I found one that acts like a rocket launcher. 820 damage plus area effect. Works very well for taking out turrets. I'm pretty disappointed with launchers, they seem to miss more often than not and if you aim at peoples feet to get them with splash damage they don't seem to do much.

Really? I've had success with playing as the berserker and using rockets. Kinda gets insane at times with all the explosions flying around.

Just finished my first play through as the Hunter. I'm liking that the second playthrough seems harder, just need to find a few people to group with now.

I hit 34 last night, I've got to be pretty close to the end. I only have a single quest line now.

I found an alien weapon, which other than the energy regen is pretty awesome. The cooldown is decreased as your proficiency increases so it may be worth using enough to get the cooldown bonus so they aren't so worthless

Yea you are probably close. I beat it at around lvl 36/37 last night.

Switched over to a gunslinger/sniper spec for Mordicai, and god damn my pistols are ridiculous. I also noticed something strange, I think one of the talents is bugged. Nowhere in my skill tree in gunslinger does it mention that I Regen pistol ammo, but I do. I can basically never run out of Pistol/revolver ammo. I fire a full auto pistol clip, reload, and can watch the ammo just fill up.

nope, it is with any pistol/revolver, and my class mod is just %fire rate with pistols and +'s to skills, no regen on it.

And this only started to occur after I put points into the "increases clip size and fire rate with pistiols" talent.

A good chest to farm for new gear in the first area is where you do the first weapon scavenger quest. Its that structure on the side of the mountain across from the Circle of Death Challenge area. Got 2 very nice orange weapons out of that chest yesterday. A shotgun called The Bulldog and what I believe to be the best smg in the game, The Combustion Hellfire.

nah I checked that as well. This works with any pistol/revolver. I can pick up a white crappy pistol and I still get infinite ammo regen.

nah I checked that as well. This works with any pistol/revolver. I can pick up a white crappy pistol and I still get infinite ammo regen.

Lol nope happens in solo play, I've only played this character solo. I noticed it start during the last few areas on my way to the vault, after I allocated talent points in "increases clip size and fire rate" Was playing solo, no class mods, no gun abilities. just infinite Pistol/Revolver ammo. It still occurs now on my second play through using different guns.

If there are people in the game that I do not know.....I just take everything and offer up stuff that I don't want/need. If there are friends in the game.....we view it together and just let the person who wants/needs it the most have it.

I've literally dropped a weapon so that someone else can view it, only to have them steal it and leave the game. I could only laugh....the item wasn't that great and I would have given it to him if he had wanted it. Kind of sad how materialistic people can get over video game items, lol.

Anyways, I hit level 50 over the weekend and am not sure what else is left to do once I finish up the 2nd playthrough. I guess its time to get ready for MW2 and L4D2

I generally ask people if they need/want and item and will ask if I can have an item that is better for my class. And so far people have been decent about it. was in a pretty good group where everyone cooperated well together. Got the Achiev for playing with a gearbox employee or someone who had.

Was hysterical though when I had 3 berserkers in my group and they'd all go nuts meleeing enemies and end up starting duels from hitting each other

I've just been playing the game with a friend, so we usually view weapons and take turns getting the good ones.

I'd still like to play with some of you guys sometime, I'm currently a Lvl 43 (somewhere around there) soldier I think.
