i miss ammo regen though. i cant live without it.

Earlier in the thread I posted a hunter build I was thinking of. Joph pointed out a few things that gave me some skills to re-think about. Here is what I'm currently working towards.

Lvl 61
Sniper
Focus - 5
Caliber - 5
Killer - 5
Trespass - 5

Rogue
Swift Strike - 5
Out for blood - 5
Aerial Impact - 1

Gunslinger
Deadly - 5
Gun crazy - 5
Riotous Remedy - 5

Was wondering what others thought & if anyone else has come up with this build.

I hit level 61 last night. Trying to finish up the Knoxx missions on playthrough 2.

The stuff I'm looting lately is insane. My inventory is chock of orange weapons now. 2500dmg rocket launchers. 1000dmg sniper rifles with x4 fire and very high elemental chance. I've looted several Combustion Hellfires now, which is hands down the best weapon in the game, even in some of it's lower level specs.

The additional skill points from the Knoxx DLC adds a lot of options. On my berserker I can now get pretty much everything I want from the tank and rocket trees.

I hit 61 with my soldier. I had to retire my hellfire and went back to combat rifles as mine wasn't doing enough dmg anymore, but it's a lower lvl one. Your luck is better than mine. I've only gotten a few oranges and one I bought to try. It's a combat rifle that is normally a burst fire (which I hate) but when zoomed in it goes full auto.

I've still got a few of the after knoxx side missions left if you want to team up some time. I did finally manage to clear the 1st round, cadat lvl, of the arena fight.

So I jumped ship to a Siren and OMG does she own or what! And I use her skill a lot - unlike the PoS turret

Got a SMG for incendiary, shock and explosive - the 4th one will be with corosive and a Mercenary mod with ammo regen. She's so much fun to play it's incredible! And the elemental weapons are deadly And the blast when she's coming into or out of Phasewalk is amazing This game is so much fun btw! I took 2 DLCs, the first and third one. I heard the second one is co-op mostly and I don't really have anyone to play with...

Anyway, don't know why people are complaining, the game's a lot of fun. Graphics are kinda weak (but what would you expect, it's an Xbox...) but it's OK, I can look past for the most part.

I'm only like level 16 with Roland, working with a buddy who's playing the sniper. I also have my own single player game as Siren and I LOVE her skills. I think she is a much better player and ridiculously hard to kill. I think she's probably better suited for the single player than any other character b/c if there's trouble you just phase shift and run away and regroup yourself. I think my Siren is only level 8-9, once I catch her up I'll probably use her instead of the soldier...but the soldier is a great support character. I can see where he'd be invaluable in a group of 4.

Well, my Siren is 61. I can solo Crawmerax without any glitches or cheats - takes a while though. So I farm him with the glitches (takes like 5 minutes to kill him and no way for me to die - ricochet ftw ) and the fcker just doesn't drop anything worthwhile. He dropped one Pearlescent for me, the Nemesis pistol - gun's nice (+shock/corrosive), I use it for fun. But I want a Tsunami SMG! Got a 2400 shield (that's 3.3k with skills, 5.1k with a defender COM ) and the best Mercenary COM (+61% dmg, +42% effect 3/4/3), got a weaker one with ammo regen for when I'm low. Using Hellfire / Corrosive / Shock / Anarchy (switch the shock with the Nemesis - it shoots both shock and corrosive - cool ).

Game's still fun for me. Was trying to figure out how to easily farm Crawmerax and now I learned it. Knoxx is a wuss - and I actually got better items form the Armory runs than from the big worm... The worm dies faster though and I can respawn it in a minute. Don't need to drive all the way each time I want to kill it.

Crawmerax drops yellow pistols, shotguns, snipers and combat rifles... I want a nice 200+ dmg 12+ rof HellFire and a high rof Tsunami

I just recently finished up all the tournaments and DLC.....it was pretty fun. I'm awaiting the next round of DLCs before I play again.

I managed to knock out the three small moxie tournaments, but haven't had the time to really attempt the large ones. The one time I entered a large one I played around 1.5 hrs and wasn't even 1/2 way through.

I think I have a spare [merc + ammo regen] if you want one... but I assume you're on the 360 or the PS3 (given that this is Console Gaming )... I'm on the PC . So if you happen to be a rogue posting in the wrong section, I can help you out .

And I stopped playing the game some time ago. Killing Crawmerax becomes repetitive very fast... If they give us a new DLC though, I'm going right back in

After a bit the craw runs can get a bit boring. That's why I decieded to give a different class a try. Altough if I get a decent block of time I may go back to my hunter & try a large moxie arena.

I've been farming Crawmerax with my Siren. It's pretty easy, but I have one question. I have a +2 to rare items class mod. Can I just equip it right before he dies and still get the benefit while using my main class mod for the rest of the fight?

I have read a lot of tests and apparently this item is bugged and doesn't do anything. I had this COM too and was running armory multiple times - I actually had the best items when not wearing it (pure bad luck, but still).

So save yourself some time and equip the +dmg/ammo regen COM and kill Crawmerax as fast as you can I also used an orange launcher + "sweet spot" to get to his back spot - works really well if you know where to aim Otherwise, ricochet SMG + "sweet spot" worked fine too.

I would not try the large tournaments solo......they can get quite hard without teammates.

I still have all 3 left also. Yeah the time involved, which I figure is more if going solo, is the main reason I haven't really put that much effort into them.

Hmmm. Kinda cheep I know but I wonder how long it would take with the host being less than lvl 15 & the others being lvl 61.

I did this with a friend of mine. We did one of the smaller tournaments and there really wasn't a noticeable increase in speed. It was just "safer." I only have one larger tournament myself. I just loathe the thought of setting aside 5 hours to get the damn thing done. Moxxi was just terrible, bad DLC.

with a level 50 host with with 3 level 61s helping took like 3-3.5hrs.

we did them all in about 3 hours each over the span of a couple weekends

We had a soldier with +20 ammo regen, +35% team clip size
Another solider with +3 health regen, and +35% team shield recharge rate
A hunter with +20 health regen
A siren with +40% team shield capacity

I'd be up to start tackling them over time. From when I was doing the small arenas, I bounced between P1 & P2 looking to see if there was a difference. The enemys are pretty much the same levels that I noticed, but on P1 they don't seem to do quite as much dmg or take quite as much to kill.

My 61's have:
Soldier (I don't remember if done with the small ones)
*Support gunner: +24 ammo regen & +42% mag size
*Tactician: +43% Shield recharge rate & +3 HP regen

Hunter (Pretty sure have small ones done on both playthroughs)
*Survivor: +9HP regen & +23% Damage

I also have a lvl 14 siren (no class mod) that I've been playing.

A few nights ago me & thraxen happened to be on at the same time. We decided to go after one of the large ones and holy crap. I kept asking myself what the hell was gbox on when they came up with this. Even with that I still find myself wanting to knock the others out also.
