Also, anybody know the lowest level you can use a corrosive weapon is? I found a pistol at like level 15 but it was level 26 so I just sold it. I could really use a corrosive weapon as those fucking armored skags are annoying.

my friend and I entered new haven with some pretty weak weapons as well but you can get some good ones pretty fast so it worked out, and I don't think i had a corrosive until about level 22.

Also I have a question for some higher level players about the Mothrakk quest (the giant flying bird back by firestone.) How do you fight her? she never lands and just launches fireballs constantly. I just got in a car with the machine gun and locked on and beat down on her for awhile. Is that how the fight is supposed to go? just seems kinda weak.

I had problems with that one, so all I did was drive around with a machinegun vehicle shooting and she eventually went down.

ahh k yea did the same thing. Also I have a question about the class mods. Do the bonus' they give to skills only count if you have a point in that skill already? and will it give extra ranks over the max?

You know I'm not sure and wonder the same thing. I'm not sure if it gives you any bonuses if you have no points in that skill. There's nothing in the game I've seen that hints either way.

yea I'm curious cause I have the cooldown reduction class item, for bloodwing, but it doesn't say that the cooldown is shorter in my character page... so I'm not sure if it is working and I can't tell/it isn't listed on the page, or I have to have that skill.

there are reports that some of the class mods may be bugged.

i also believe u need to at 1 pt in the skill for mods to work.

Were you the one looking for a decent fully auto assault rifle? If you're still looking I may have one that's alright. No elemental damage, but has 90something damage (full auto) and a pretty big clip.

yeah. trying to find something decent in the assualt weapon class.

right now i find SMGs the best fully auto guns. the assualt class doesnt come close yet.

beat it last night and started my second play through. Good game and I like the fact that there is a second playthrough and you keep everything you have.

I'm only at level 17 so far but I am finding absolute dogshit for weapons thus far.

I am playing as the soldier and I have an assortment of shotguns and machine guns but nothing that's really all that great. I have a high damage shotty but it's slow as hell. I also have a nice machine gun with a huge scope (must have) but the damage isn't that great (combo rifle).

Hopefully there are some better weapons soon or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places.

Also, there is more colored guns then what you have been told. Orange has different shades and there is even a pearlescent color with uber stats. Did you know your inventory sorts by rarity? It's all luck. If you feel like cheesing, you can just check the weapon chest on the top of Lucky's (if you've killed Sledge and opened up the area after arid badlands. I don't know of any easily accessible weapon chests in the beginner area) and then keep reloading the game until you find something decent.

I finally found something worthwhile yesterday after 22 levels, so my luck is as bad as yours. SMG that fires two bullets at a time, reloads in less than half a second and with my class mod that increases SMG damage by 50% = total awesome, at least for now.

You can also try to find somebody's MP game and search out some chests, better loot with more people. Let me know if you want to team up sometime. I've had a hell of a time finding games lately, and nobody joins the public ones I create.

What class is everyone? And what do your skill trees look like? I always love/hate games like this because I'm always wondering if I chose the wrong guy/class/weapon/skill/etc.

You could beat the game without ever using any skills other than your class' special, so it's not like Diablo where you will die if you didn't make the "perfect build."

I'm playing a Siren with the Elemental tree. The Phoenix skill really helps against the more annoying creatures that rush you in packs (it sets you on fire and causes damage to all melee attackers, as well as giving your attacks a chance to not use bullets.)

Well you can always reset your skills for some $$ if you want to change up your build.

I'm playing as a hunter and I've tried pretty much all three trees, but right now I've gotten rid of all the bird talents and using my class enhancement I'm running a gunslinger with sniper training and killer in the sniper tree.

So whenever I kill a target I regen 15% health/do leathal shots 100% extra damage/get a dmg increase from the sniper tree/shoot and reload faster. Kinda turns me into a whirlwind of death after the first kill.

and my other character is the berserker. And going rocket spec with him is hysterical, my friend and I are constantly laughing because of me going berserk raping people then coming out and chain firing rockets and resetting berserk again.

Hmm I haven't played that much online multiplayer, mostly just local cause my friend got the RROD last week (btw vertical split screen can suck my balls). But I think my next chracter will be a Siren to take online, seems like she can do some cool stuff.

I've run into a bunch of annoying glitches but it's still a very fun game. The vertical split screen is actually good except for the shitty panning you have to do on the menus (really annoying).

It also sucks that every public game I try to join either fails right after it starts or wont start at all.

i always try to play in a group. ive done prolly about 90% of all the quest with atleast 3 people.

I've had a much harder time with some quests solo then with a group. If I'm having trouble and don't want to grind levels I'll just find a group.
