No, I'm living in rez at school. It could be because of something to do with my resnet, but I have no problems with other games or anything else.

I grabbed the DLC on today. Started it out with one of my secondary characters. Seems well worth the money. I'm going to wait until some of my friends are free next week though before really attacking it. Although it's true, gun running in new haven is ruined haha.

Im having a blast with the new Knoxx DLC. Its tough but im glad they stepped up the difficulty. Was starting to think the game was getting too easy with the past 2 dlcs.

Online works great. Been playing with a few other friends and they all still have no troubles logging on to my game. (I always host)

Anyways off to play! Deffinetly get the Knoxx DLC if you seriously want to breath more life into your Borderlands experience. You will be glad you did.

I'm having such a blast in the new areas... the new vehicles are fun, the new double weapon chests are tantalizing, and the game is hard now. Knoxx himself was a real bitch to fight. Took my coop team about 7-8 minutes to take him out... bring ammo regen of some kind. Also... make sure you have PLENTY of space in your backpack for what happens after you beat Knoxx's silly ass. Trust me.

Anyway, this DLC was totally worth $10. I stayed away from Moxxi's update, but came back for the Knoxx update and I'm 100% satisfied and happy. Already level 61, and the mobs hit like a truck, but the new guns help even that out a bit. New guns, new grenades, new mods (I got an Ogre mod for my zerker that does +65% shotgun fire rate, and +35% shotgun damage), new areas, new enemies. This DLC really does breathe more life into the Borderlands experience. This is what all DLC should aspire to be.

killed Knoxx and I thought I finished the DLC, but there are additional missions after Knoxx dies

I also lost millions interacting with the cash box by the World's Largest Bullet. couldn't figure out if it did anything until I noticed I had <1M left lol

I see they still haven't fixed the problems with the mouse and navigating menus. Maybe they fixed some of it, but I still can't scroll mission info without pressing page up or down. I can't even click on the little arrow.

The the game has a bunch of issues, gearbox doesn't have the flawless build quality that infinity ward has, but nonetheless, borderlands is an excellent video game. I haven't had this much fun being addicted to a stupid shooter in a long time. I'm so rushed to level up to the next level just to increase the turret for roland... lol.

Get this little tool made by users on the steam forums. It works great and fixes all the little issues you mention plus a bunch more options that should have been in the game from the start.

Hey, just bought the borderlands dlc, knoxx, but too bad I have like no one to play it with and gamespy is just a pain in the ass to use. Gameranger is better but most hosts are only looking for friends.

Highest char I've got is a 42 siren, so alittle low to start knoxx, but it wouldn't take long to level. Playing by myself is too boring. Anyway, gamespy is Praxis1452, steam: catalyst1452. Just message me if you're interested. I'm US East.

I have a question for you guys... I'd like to purchase Borderlands along with the expansion, but I am concerned about hacking/cheating. It heard that all hacked weapons were removed and all exploits/cheats disabled... Is this really true? does it look like the hacking will return soon?

I know the game scans for weapons it considers to be unrealistic and deletes them. no idea if hackers found a word around. also, a word of warning, the scan has the potential to delete legit found items too.

if you have a badass white weapon, then it might poof. assume dark orange weapons are safe and anything else below in rarity are safe.

The main thing about hacking is that this game is still mostly PvE. It's not like they have an advantage over you really. It DOES make the game less fun though, so it seems that you really need to have a core group of friends who are willing to play.

Hey guys, im having some odd issue in borderlands. Seems like my character's shoulder has a glitch when im using a assault rifle. Anyone have a similar issue or know a fix?

i'd say ignore it. its just how the game is built.

anyway, i just finished the game, solo hunter first playthrough. i did Zombie Island before beating it. Zombie Island was great, i had a fire revolver that saved my life so many times.

i made a "combo" with two revolvers:

1: 131(x6)dmg 6 rounds 1.5 fire rate +10 regen ammo (a beast in itself for lvl 27)
2: 308dmg 2 rounds x4 fire elemental 2.4 zoom (used like a sniper)
bought a purple GunSlinger mod for about a million and respeced to gunslinger and i was unstoppable!
i reloaded faster than i could shoot and ammo regen is DA BOMB

oh yeah...and WTF is that ending???

great game though! i'll definately get BL2 if it ever comes, even as MMO if it has enough content.

Can anyone tell me how to get there? I'm starting the game from scratch as I lost my last save when I reinstalled my OS.

I think there is a min level req before you do the Dr. Ned DLC too

Lvl 10 I think. I would recommend going through the main game first though.

Yeah find a fast travel location & look at the bottom of the list.
If you aren't on Playthrough 2 it's gonna suck though.
One of my buds was hosting & he was on Playthrough 1 still, & the loot/weaps we were finding were absolute fail (not to mention one shot killing the lower level zombies).
Playthrough 2 = much harder zombies & better stuff to collect.

I also just started Zombie Island the other day.

Really love playing this game with friends.
Just hard to get time to get together to do so.
