colder than cold since Borders is overpriced. I bought a book for my wife and it's cheaper from Amazon even though I used the coupon. For discussion sake it's Martha's Stewart's Baking Handbook.

Unfortunately that's not what happened to me:
If the item you wish to buy is xx% off, and most books there are xx% off the retail inflated price on the book jacket, they said the coupon was only valid on items that were priced at the retail price found on the book jacket.
Same for CDs. The retail price of CDs sold there is as much as $18-$20 so even with the coupon, it's more than in electronic stores that have them priced $9.99 to $13.99 at most.
I mean, who buys books at retail jacket prices? You can just get them online from reputable stores for less without a coupon.
