Hey!! If you're playing Empire Earth multiplayer, then you're one of the last of a dying breed. FWIW, my name is on page 238 of the manual (Strike Team). Sierra allowed that game to die on the vine. Do *NOT* by the expansion. The X-pack is not made by the same guys that made EE.

I'm playing EE multiplayer. I just downloaded the recently released beta for the expansion too. Apparantly, they will soon update the original EE to include a better multiplayer matching system. Hopefully that along with the expansion will revive the community somewhat.

Hey there,

TRIBES 2 is great. You not only have terrain to go over like deserts, ice covered mountains and tropical jungles
but you also get to fly Bombers, Transports, hover cycles, and hover tanks. Alot of the vehicles need
a driver and a gunner so it's really fun to stratgize with another person on taking over a base
This is really the only game other than AVP GOLD and AVP 2

Frys had it for $10 and My Fiance and I play it alot. She kicks my tail sometimes

I got one of my (female) friends on CS and MOHAA, she sometimes kicks my butt at CS! :Q

BEUTIFUL graphics, even 3+ years after release.

amazing gameplay . . . . ... . . not much varitation between the two races, but the game is soo damn good it doesn't need it.

i can't beleive it hasn't been mentioned yet!!

and the multiplayer is embeded, so no third party proggies required, and it still has a very large following. The MOD community is very much alive also(with myself as a proud member) and what with the programs some of these people are writing you can create an entire total conversion mod using a 3d editor/texturer, 3dex conversion(older version available free), forget the name, but Delphy's HW tool, does everything you need after you have the models and textures in the correct format.

all in nice GUI, too, with 3d display.

damn, but what a sweet game.

pick it up now, do not stop for dogs/cats/squirrels/toddlers on your way to your local game store. 3 years out, probably pretty cheap by now.

Here's a vote for Total Annihalation, an oldy but goody. You could probably pick it and the expansion pack (Core Contingency) up in bargain bins.
