bored?? NEED A GAME!!

I have been playing BF1942 and DC for aloooong time.

I always wanted to play Counter Strike, but apparently you cant download that for free.

And im not a big fan of steam (plus I dont have a credit card..not old enough) and I would be it retail at a store but they dont SELL it at the F((((kkkkiiinnngg store!!!


So, what games would you guys recommend?

I already went through the long list of free games on that stick thread..and they..well..suck.


I have a:

AMD 2800
512 mb of ram
Interagated 64mb videocard
120 gig hd


etc....crappy HP computer. (Im building my own soon)


so what would you gusy recommmend??

The only thing I can think of that fits your reqs is Enemy Territory.

Not many free games that are good to play for a long time...the best game that is very popular and that fits your system req has to be Counter-strike 1.6....if you can find it, it only cost around 5-10bucks

Hmm... Doom, Quake, err... check for shareware at PCWorld.com.

What else is free that I know of... there's Orbiter... but then again, you should get a new game.

Played Half Life 1 yet? Try Homeworld 1, Homeworld Cataclysm, and Homeworld 2. Plenty of older games that can be had cheaply. Jedi Outcast....whatever your genre of choice may be.

Jedi Outcast and Academy get my full support, and can be played on your system at low res (I had a very similar system). I've probably spent more hours on JA multiplayer than any other game to date (including CS, Diablo 2) and JO is probably my all time favorite SPFPS. Both can be found pretty cheap, but both (especially Academy) are tricky to find.

Plus, playing with the lightsaber and force powers is just plain fun.
