The false reporting from sources like the Nypost was out of control.
The wild speculation on every news source is enough to piss me off. If you have nothing of value to say report on something else. There was other news to talk about. There once was a time where they would have a big issue and just break into the current broadcast with new updates. A ticker tape would have been sufficient for the mundane.
Here's what I got most of the time from the news. Suspect 2 might be dead or he might be alive. He might be a Muslim terrorist, a domestic terrorist, or a mentally deranged person. He might be in Boston or maybe not. He might be armed but maybe not. He might have a suicide vest on or maybe not. There was a possibility he was injured but he might have not been injured. You get the picture. Non stop speculation and fear mongering.
They spent 2 days going full John Madden on us.
Then of course you have the chan4/reddit travesty of creating an internet witch hunt.
Those 3 issues need to be addressed.
