It's possible that an agent of Iran did this in retaliation against the US for the assassination of nuclear scientists.

There are countless people in that region who we've made enemies of, there's just no getting around it.

Maybe we should drone strike more innocent men, women, and children in the middle east to retaliate.

Us retaliate? Retaliate for what?

At first I was leaning more towards Islamic terrorists, as time goes on I am leaning more toward right wing fundamentalists,

Richard Barrett, the former United Nations co-ordinator for the al-Qaeda and Taliban monitoring team, said it was too early to say who was to blame for the blasts.
But Barrett, who has served with MI5, MI6 and the British Foreign Office, said the timing of the attack on Patriots' Day and the relatively small size of the devices suggested the work of a domestic extremist.
Barrett, who is now senior director at the Qatar International Academy for Security Studies (QIASS), said: "At the moment it looks more likely that it was a right-wing terrorist incident, rather than an al Qaeda attack because of the size of the devices."

He added: "This happened on Patriots' Day, it is also the day Americans are supposed to have their taxes in, and Boston is quite a symbolic city. These are all little indicators."
Professor Greg Barton from Monash University's Centre for Islam and the Modern World said there were "two big possibilities" of who was behind the attacks.
"There's been at least 50 attempted terror plots since 9/11 in the US, almost all of them have been jihadi groups, but the fact that no-one’s claiming responsibility for this attack, which took place on Patriots' Day - the day that marks the beginning of the American revolution in Boston - and the nature of the device means that the possibility of a home-grown group, somebody like Timothy McVeigh the Oklahoma City bomber who also detonated on Patriots' Day in April 1995, is a strong possibility," he told 3AW Radio in Melbourne.

Prof Barton said the bombs were "essentially homemade grenades".

If it were "right wing fundamentalists" then they wouldn't attack the Boston Marathon but a government building. This has been repeated in the thread.

Why does the media continue to ignore the exact same type of bomb has been attempted by muslim terrorists in the US?

It's mind boggling. They have this narrative of "well, this is some special device we've never seen before so it must be white right wing people" when that is a flat out lie. We've seen this before, in the US, and every time it was muslim terrorists!

Where are you guys getting all this current info on American right wing terrorist cells?
Freepers? JhiadWatch? Stormfront? P&N?
How does a guy go about reading up on their plans?

Because only a simpleton would assume just because a group used a specific weapon in the past it must be them.

Most Fox News loyalists would buy that

Pressure cooker bombs got their start in the Nepalese Civil War.
I suppose you can blame commies for it then
It then spread to India, Pakistan and Afghanistan

If a simpleton would draw logical conclusions about very similar bombs used by muslim terrorists in the US and around the world then what would that make one who draws conclusions to a specific group without ANY suggesting facts or evidence?

A highly biased idiot ignoring facts and reality, that's what. The media is purposefully drawing conclusions based on zero facts and totally ignoring what's staring everybody right in the face. It's mind boggling the stupidity and outright lies really.

I'm going to give my professional opinon

About the pressure cooker used, from your profession as long time nanny reading Mack Bolan books?

I'm talking about your whole transparent internet facade, not just that one post.

You're a hack and a fraud. Just thought you should be aware you fool no one.

Careful, he'll snipe ya with his 1/4" MOA at 800M lol

Same to you buddy

Dude, the entire plot of the show is that Abu Nazir's son was killed by a drone strike, and he turns Brody to use him to kill the person responsible for the fucking drone strike. You can't seriously be arguing this fact? I think you've got to just be trolling now.

A pressure cooker is air-tight. I'm guessing that helps the explosion somehow.

Yes. As Londo's pic explains it contains the reaction for a split second longer, increasing the power. What was it Armageddon where they are talking about hold a firecracker in your hand and light, it just pops, light it and close your hand and it will blow your hand up, same thing, just bigger.

I've got no idea who is behind it, not going to speculate, but dude, the whole pressure cooker thing is not the brilliant work of Islamic Extremist, that idea has been around since ....pressure cookers.

I know, and it's not hard to make. It's just the tool of choice for muslim terrorist attacks that have been attempted in the US. That is a fact.

That means chances are very high it is muslim terrorist.

Again, the bomb type is not the only factor pointing toward that type of extremism, but also the fact that the target was the marathon and civilians, and the timing of the explosion was picked to cause large casualties.

Let me summarize this for the PC apologists:

1. Bomb type - first popularized in South Asian Islamic shitholes
Sure, right wing terrorists can use this too. Tie.

3. Attempt style - amateurish.
Islamic terror - The last few bombers have been lone wolf style amateurs. The only reason their plots didn't succeed is because they screwed things up.
Right wing groups are also amateurish so I'll give them that. Tie.

4. Taking responsibility for the attack - No one so far.
Islamic terror - No one's taken responsibility so far, but that doesn't mean much. If it was a small scale group they wouldn't take responsibility till they covered their tracks.
Right Wing - Historically not taken credit for the attacks. Let's call this one a tie.

2. Target: Marathon, around the four hour mark to target as many civilians as possible:
Islamic terror - it's in their damn manifesto. +1
Right wing - Patriot's day, Boston tea party blah blah WHY A MARATHON AND NOT A GOVT BUILDING?

Can the apologists elucidate on point #2 above?

Also remember terrorist groups have been calling for muslim terrorists to target sporting events where large numbers of people are around. This is like their calling card.

Left wing terrorist target coporations and evil capitalism
Right wing target government
Muslim terrorist target civilians in crowded open areas

Gee...which one fits here?
