bottled or tap water?

I have a brita pitcher + filter which is filled with tap water. The only time I drink bottled water is when I get it for free or I have extra meal-points to burn down at the end of a quarter and buy bottles of water to use up the rest of them.

In the US, tap water. I think it's stupid to buy bottled water for drinking at home.

The only time I drink bottled water is on roadtrips, but even then that's only for long ones. If it's just a few hours I'll fill up a water bottle with tap water.

Same here. If I'm driving anywhere more than 15 minutes away, I'll toss a bottle of water in my car just because of the convenience. I'll reuse it a couple times too.

Tap, nearly always. I don't like the taste of bottled water when it's straight from the bottle. Maybe it's the plastic, but regardless of brand of bottled water, it always has the same taste, and I don't like it each time. Oh well. No sense having water delivered to me by truck when I get it delivered by pipe WAY cheaper.

Tap, unless I'm out and there isn't a drinking fountain handy. (We have a Brita jug, but I'm not that fussed, water here isn't too 'flavourful' )

I'm not about to throw money away on something I can get effectively for free, produced to far more stringent standards

I have a Brita but like bubbly drinks. Lately I have been buying carbonated and flavored Poland Springs. Zero calories, etc and replaced my soda intake.

My tap water is horrid, it really can't be used without the brita.

When I boil it to make dinner, I get mineral buildup in my pots. The water is pretty hard to drink, it comes from the Susquehanna, ew.

So, I drink mostly bottled + brita.

I keep bottled water in my fridge... I grab a bottle if I'm on my way out the door, and I buy bottled water if I need water when I'm out.

if I'm drinking water in my house, I go with tap water.

it's not only stupid, it's harmful to the environment to produce the bottles, to transport the water, and to recycle and dispose of the plastic waste.

btw aquafina and daisani is just local tap water that pepsi/coca-cola reprocessed. capitalism at its finest.

QFT. I remember reading that it was just the water from their bottling facilities, ie, Coke minus the syrup and CO2

Tap. Unless you're in an area that has terrible tasting or non-potable water, and you don't have a filter, it makes NO sense to buy bottled.
