The eSATA cable can be removed from the top bezel - two screws. Cover the small hole with black electrical tape from the bottom. It's not properly grounded anyway...

Valo123,
On the Antec 900, there's 5 vented back pci slot covers between the top of the psu fan and your video card, unless you have some other card installed between them, and the side panel is vented, or if you want more cooling you can install another 120mm fan in the side panel. So there's more than enough available fresh cool air for your psu fan without having to flip it over and cut a hole in the bottom and replace it's 1/4" high rubber feet with higher feet.

I got my case together yesterday, and I hate the bottom mounted PSU with a passion. The fan on my power supply is no longer spinning, so I need to replace it, but other than that, the 4 pin plug for the P4 connector has to stretch OVER and across the zvideo card and the motherboard itself. What a pain in the ***! My temps however have never been better. For whatever reason, the CPU fan stopped spinning, but with all the fans in this case set on medium, I was maintaining temps in the low 20's. But another con with the case is this...why have speed controls on the fans when they are NOT accessible from the outside of the case???

The front of the case is clean and plain looking, and I like it.

Hmm, can't you make the 4-pin cord go under the GPU near the rear of the case? Like this:

Or "behind" the motherboard on the other side of the case would be even better.

I like that idea! Nice and clean looking. I'll take a picture later today and post it to show what I have going on right now.

Wiring in the Antec 900 is an absolute nightmare.

The first time through I just put it all in and did a sub-par job and quickly booted it up to see that everything was working with the new PSU and what not. Second time through I used the pre-cut holes to hide some cords behind the motherboard tray but it turns out in doing so, since the 24pin power to the motherboard was being held to tight (thick cord) through the whole it like, was causing my mouse and computer to 'lag' in general.

Although I have no idea why, it was in fact my first guess and upon letting it out how it originally was remedied the problem as I thought it would. Kudos to Antec for making wiring management in this case a COMPLETE nightmare without a great deal of work/modding. Ugh.

Sometimes, I work in my case while the computer is running.
Many times, I have accidentally dropped something like a screw, a nut, a spring, a washer, ......
I wouldn't want any of those to be sucked into my PSU through its intake fan. It may hit something in there or cause a short ...!

That is why I would never install a PSU at the bottom with the intake fan at the top if there is nothing over the PSU to cover it.
For example, P182 has an enclosed chamber at the bottom. It also accommodates a 1" space under the PSU. So, the PSU can be installed either way with no possible problems.

I have no experience with 900. But, if there is room under the PSU, I would install it with the fan facing down.

There's not enough room under the PSU in an Antec 900 for a RCH.

How about the *new* Ultra X2 750?

You would have to work pretty hard to get something down that hatch!

100 BONES HERE

90 BONES HERE

I'm thinking about going this route with my '690'.

I love Ultra's modular cabling, and I haven't blown up my Ultra X-Finity 600 yet, soooo...

Nope...I AM! The good thing is that the duct tape is covered by the solid part of the case side. The wiring in this case is horrible, but I have it up and running, and (for now) that's all that matters.

Oh yeah, AND this is a very cool/cold case

I have a P182.
It has an enclosed chamber at the bottom. So, if I install any PSU upside down, there is no way to accidentally drop anything in it.
It has 1" space under the PSU. So, if I install any PSU in it right side up, there is enough room under it for enough air intake.

I don't like a case that limits me. I like one that offers me options.
