bought a 2405, still no news on the 2407???

i just bought a dell 2405 from costco.com

i also bought a costco membership so that i can return it if theres something
wrong with it or the 2407 turns out to be significantly better or cheaper.

2405 + costco membership + tax

$879.99 + $45 + $55 = $980

i know i coulda bought the 2405 elsewhere for like $200 cheaper,
but this is my first time buying an lcd so the costco return policy seems more than worth it.

anyone have any new info on the 2407 release date and price?

ya i know same here, but i figured it could easily be another month till the 2407 comes out retail.

i've never had an lcd before so im just trying it out from costco while waiting for the 2407.

when the 2407 comes out if the price is about the same ill probably return the 2405 and get the 2407.

with the costco return policy its pretty much 100% risk free investment.

omg i can think of TONS of college students that abuse costco's return policy. Since it doesnt specify a return deadline, ive known people to buy something.. wait about 1 yr.. and return it. Kinda cheezy if you think about it, but then costco would obviously change that policy is they were losing money in the long run.
