Wasn't really planning on buying a Corvette tonight. The SS is gone and this C7 Z06 convertible takes its place. It's a 2016 with less than 1000 miles on it. I'm glad someone could break it in for me and take the initial depreciation on it. It's a loaded 3LZ with the Z07 package.

Gorgeous - I love the C7 (I haven't really loved any Vette since the C2).

And that's a hell of a deal!

Nice! Such a sweet power train. That’s a pretty sweet depreciation drop for only 1k miles on it. It really isn’t even broken in at those miles. Any plans for upgrades?

Nice ride! Congratulations!

Makes me wonder why the previous owner decided to get rid of it. That’s a huge depreciation hit.

I really should get a stupid powerful car to enjoy before they all go away in favor of hybrids and electrics or self driving cars make them irrelevant.

I approve of this change. Absolutely spectacular.

We're on the verge of hypercar technologies becoming near mainstream (eg C8 AWD variant with 1000 HP rumored). There's at least a few more rounds of awesome before we all get driven around by robots.

Nice car. Red would be the last color I'd choose though.
I wonder why the original owner let go of this car at a loss and low mileage. $40K from MSRP is indeed a sweet deal. Enjoy your new toy.

Red wasn't my first color choice. Convertible wasn't even in my thoughts. I was eager to make a move on this car when I saw it had a manual transmission, 3LZ trim level, Z07 package, and an excellent starting price for negotiations to play out.

I'm very happy with my purchase. I got what's basically a new $110K MSRP Z06 for $70K OTD. I'm really starting to like the red after I detailed it. It looks so great on a Corvette. It's also very fun to drive with the top down.

I love convertibles and that car looks amazing in red with the chrome wheels. I don’t think it would be difficult to convince my wife that we need a convertible when it comes time to replace my E550 coupe.

Thanks for the added pics and congrats again.

Awesome! I'm not a fan of the styling of the C7 but am huge fan of its performance. That seems like a terrific deal on what's basically brand new C7 Z06 convertible.

I had a good lulz scrolling through the garage today:

I'm sure you'll love the 'vette. They're amazing cars.

I'm so glad I didn't get that 2017 Z06 1LZ back in March. This Corvette is much better. There was something in the back of my mind at the time telling me to hold off and wait for a better one.

Discovered something cool. Apparently the LT4 engine is built in two locations; New York and Bowling Green, KY. The engines built in New York are done on an assembly line with 4 dozen people. The engines built at the Corvette factory are built in in their entirety by one person. Only the Z06 with the Z07 package get the hand built LT4. Found the plaque with the name of the builder on mine.

This is my new friend:
