Bought Seagate Externall HDD, No HDD Inside.....

WTF?!?!? I bought a couple of those Seagate External hard drives from Walmart and never EVER had a problem with them. I also bought an US Robotics internal modem from Walmart and again no problems. I also know that if I had any problems, the the local Walmart here is very good at taking back stuff with little hassle - if any.

Hey, if Walmart sells brand name products at a very competitive price AND their return policy is no hassle, I have no reservations whatsoever to buy it from Walmart.

BTW, CompUSA doesn't sell groceries but I wouldn't buy any from them if they did - I'd buy them at my local Walmart.

Yeah well it got resolved. Wal-Mart screwed me but Seagate did not. Got my new hard drive in the mail. I asked and they said they think it might have happend at the factory, since my hard drive was fully sealed when I bought it. They said it was not the first call they recieved on it. Woo for Seagate once again, thats why they are the ONLY hard drive manafacturer I buy from.

And OMG I was such an idiot for buying my hardware at a large retailer (/sarcasm). I have bought from large retailers my entire life with no problems, most of the time. I have more complaints about online companies like Newegg and Amazon than real life stores like Wal-Mart and Best Buy. Want the best hardware seller? Try Intcomex in Jamaica, OEM everything at wholesale prices with 30 day NO QUESTIONS ASKED exchanges. Anyways thanks for the help guys. The lesson I learned from this is open the god damn box right at the cash register.
