Okay deal for an 8x multiplier C2D CPU. The HP DDR2 667 RAMs and Abit IP35-E combo should be able to take a good chip up to 3.2GHz with 2.0Vdimm (400MHz FSB). Higher FSB speed will require quality RAMs like Kingston "N5" 1.8V DDR2 800 ValueRAM.
The Abit board should run well with default settings if paired with quality RAMs. My sample hits 3.32GHz with 1.46Vcore.
