A customer from work gave me a 6-pack of root beer. The co-owners of the biz gave me a gift card to Fred Meyer.

I also won an auction on eBay for a used mountain-bike frame to replace my broken one, so that's "from me, to me" I guess.

I worked at the pizza shop Christmas eve (we weren't doing any celebrating until Christmas day & it gave some of those who work there more time with their own families.) Among the tips: case of Labatts Blue, case of Coors Light, case of Bud Light, 12 pack of Sam Adams, (and 2 other 12-packs, can't remember what they were.) And, holy shit, did we sell a lot of pizza and chicken wings.

Spending time with my family and all in good health. That's enough for me. Told my wife not to get me anything. If I want anything I'll buy it.

Is that your first mechanical keyboard? Once you go mechanical, it's hard to go back to crappy membrane keyboards. I'm sure the noise will annoy everyone around you, lol. Good old Cherry blues.

I got:

- a pair of gloves
- $400

I gave:

- a nice coffee mug and a portable massage unit for my mom
- some Wii games for my sister
- a new battery and a 1TB external drive to my dad

Honestly, I'd give this Christmas and the next twenty in order to get over my depression. I'm on board the whole commercialization of Christmas thing, it was ridiculous just going to Walmart and seeing the general mess. It especially doesn't mean anything if you're not happy.

You really live in a selfish world and have no idea how others make it through life do you?

Many employers hire their starting classes in the fall qtr of the senior year of college. It's when recruiting starts for many business/accounting school grads. All offers are contingent upon you graduating on-time.

Rather than a gun & a safe - I would recommended you have a homeowners insurance policy with a rider for your valuables. Take photos and scans of receipts and upload them online. We carry an extra $50k for the "collectibles" and electronics which adds like $12 a month to our insurance.

Wow!

I am hardly selfish in my life. I probably give away more than people making double my income.

I dont know any real colleges that will give a student credit for working an internship unless college sponsered. Maybe I am confused with what the OP was asking though. In high school it's easier to get though.

I was burglarized to the tune of almost $50k a couple years back of which I was reimbursed a little over $30k, I understand how insurance works and I do carry coverage. Also I know how the insurance companies love denying claims and in the case of mine provided documentation that had me looking at hard limits set for tools and computer gear.

I don't think you understand sentimental value of items.

However, I am insured and updating my policies regularly. We have pictures and files of reciepts that we also back up due to having such proof paramount for a large claim.

Got some clothes, jumper cables (apparently the ones I have arent good enough), and a bunch of games I bought myself on steam. Not to mention the 100 in gas I spent getting here and back and how much I spent on others, im in the hole over 600. Should have just stayed home and not wasted the time.

Are you NUTS???!!!! Never give your wife a deadly option! You never know when not picking up your socks or peeing on the toilet seat might make her "go there."
There are other firearms in the house, including an AR, so I figured if she is going to 'do me in' then let it be in style.

Bluetooth headphones and a monstrous check from a relative that was completely unexpected and literally made me speechless.
