if you do a weapons/armor upgrade, does that automatically upgrade all units on the map, or only new units from that point on?

same question with zergling speed upgrades.

All units on map, same for zerg.

I tried to make a custom game but the create button was grayedout and the message said couldn't use it while downloading. Seems co-op vs computer is active, hope this means we have the full suite of AIs.

Ive been anxiously awaiting phase 2 of the beta just to have it crap the bed like this. Its been almost 12 hrs since I have tried to get a game going and still nothing.

I suppose it is a good thing this is happening now with the beta instead of with the full release.

I noticed a bug when searching for games. You can't cancel out of them.

I was doing a queue just now for 4v4 and after waiting 10 min, I decided to cancel. I hit the cancel button and the button part disappears but I'm still in the queue for 4v4. I couldn't do anything else.

I log out/in and I tried to select 4v4 again but it gives me an error saying that I'm already in the queue. It does, however, let me in a 3v3 queue, but once i hit cancel, it does the same shit and doesn't actually cancel me out of the queue.

Apparently some people are able to play *some* things right now while others are not able to do anything.

Full AI confirmed for beta phase 2. I just played against a medium AI. Not too hard but fields a force.

they said the AI doesn't cheat anymore. before it knew where you were and all, but now it has to scout (apparently).

Insane is the only mode that cheats, it gathers more minerals per trip than what is normally possible and ignores fog of war. All of the other modes play straight up.

The AI is pretty decent and will probably give the average player a run for their money, but anyone with modest experience will be able to see the gaping vulnerabilities in its strategy.

I beat very hard by slow pushing across the map and out macroing it; eventually it ran out of money.

i was only able to play one game yesterday ( no time) and i selected practice mode by accident. i noticed that the game is alot slower, is it like that in regular matches or are practice mode games slowed down?

Practice mode matches are slowed down, and they're also played on special maps with the starting bases walled off by destructible rocks.
