So I was just calling EB's customer service number to check on my key, and the first thing the recording says is "if you are calling about your starcraft 2 beta key, please be advised that electronic delivery may take up to 24 hours, please do not contact us until 24 hours have passed" or something. Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning to call

It's been 22 hours and 30 minutes for me....so the time before I call is dwindling down....

Yup. I gave up after I played 5 placement matches after a reset, and it refused to place me in a league. Stuck on "0 placement games remaining".

Hopefully they do the actual reset (and patch) soon.

Go to battle.net, log in, and there's a link in your main account management screen that will let you add a game. Follow that link to another page that will let you input your key.

Ordered from Gamestop in the morning, went to the store in the evening in downtown Minneapolis. Got the key (didn't even take any info from me...unless I was the only pre-order from the office farm that is downtown...highly doubt it!)

Played 2 games with a buddy last night against a couple of PCs. Really looking forward to the campaigns.

To clarify, I don't think they're getting rid of LT and Metatopolis for 2v2, I think they're just done testing them.

Excited about the achievements, and I know a lot are excited about the map editor...but I don't think those maps will be able to be played on b.net yet?

The actual changes are kind of underwhelming. Zerg still needs a bit more buffs imo. I like the slight Protoss nerf, but I also think they need a bit more of that.

Maybe I should go grab a pre order later today, currently sharing a friend's account. Can't seem to get the patch to work though, seems like an error lots of people are getting as well base on the general sc2 forums. With the map editor out, maybe some 3v3 maps will start coming out. BGH reborn?

B.net is down, but I believe the loop issue is unrelated. The solution is to close the launcher, go to StarCraft II Beta/Support, and run SC2Switcher.exe to launch SC2.

Rude and unhelpful on the phone. Then it took them about 40 minutes to cancel my order.

Not like the key matters anyways, I'll be getting one from Amazon soon. Just thought it was funny.

Every time my loader finishes it repeats the last few reloading things, the thing where it refreshes all the icons on your screen... "preparing to download new patch" "no problems detected" "preparing to apply patch" "writing to something something something beta.patch" and that thing just repeats constantly.
