My brag and moan post.

Memorex cd-burner products are worthless and their warranty support is even more worthless. I had a bum burner and sent it back to them under warranty explaining that it appeared to burn CD's but the disks were unreadable in 90% of other machines. Their $8 an hour tech decided that my CD-burner was NPF or no problem found and they shipped the same piece of sh1t back to me. Fvck Memorex hardware products forever.

Second moan is about Optorite. I was warned I would never get my rebate from that shady outfit and it was true. They too suck.

Third, Best Buy sucks. They sold me a warranty on a laptop that they refused to honor. Luckily the product was financed by them and I told them I wouldn't take it back unless they fixed it. They got to keep a worthless product and threaten me that I would be charged if I didn't come pick it up. The charge went away and they still send me advertisements.

So the moral of this story is avoid Memorex, Optorite, and Best Buy.

Quick brag involving Best Buy of all places. Just went and scored a copy of Wind Waker and Animal Crossing for ~$28 using the 2-for-25 deal. Not bad at all.

Moan: Seems like the seller was a fraud. Luckily I did not send the money to him.

Moan: Compusa sold me a Mobiblu Device DAH-1000 for 118$. It was working for about 3 months and then when I tried to upload new songs to it, it stopped working immediately. I don't know why?! I tried numerous things to fix it, but at the end none of them worked. So I decided to take my mp3 device and " try" to bring it back to Compusa. When I explained them what has happened, they told me " We don't know anything", " Call the manufacturer" (no phone number only website and e-mail). I then called and spend numerous minutes with them on the phone and it got nowhere. They told me a technician would call me in few days. I'm now waiting 4 days and nobody has called me yet.
" Norwood Illuminated Optical Mouse" from Compusa worked for 3 monthes and dead now. I open a manual and it says "90 days limited warranty".
No comments. Just don't know what to do with the MP3 player.

Got an eVGA 6800NU off eBay for $195 a while back. It unlocks flawlessly, and the memory overclocks to 850mhz. This thing has been running strong for half a year, and kickin butt! :thumbsup:

Moan: Their latest "sale" price for them now is $26. Bastards
