Two months later and they still haven't reversed the charge AFTER contacting them 5 times I've had to repeat my problem over and over. The first time I was just dismissed and told it would take 15 business days THEN they said the servers were messed up and they lost some canceled orders THEN they said they would print and personally walk my canceled order to the right place THEN they said they would get special permission to cancel the order themselves. The last time I called they said they have no notes about someone saying they would personally cancel my order. I've been dealing with this from 5/06/2006 till 06/22/2006. I am in the process of doing a charge back. Whats funny is the second to the last time I called they told me that all charge backs are contested. Weak.
Be aware that as soon as you place a order with monarch they charge your card. I've made lots of purchases with them in the past but this did it for me. There are too many other companies out there fighting for the same dollars to waist any more time with them.
Oh no....same exact thing happening to me. I have called them twice, they tell me it will take up to 30 days. Its already been 3 weeks since the order was cancelled. Newegg refunds pretty much within 2 days. Let me know how it turns out with you. I will probably have to call my credit card company after the 30 days are up.
I cancelled the order because 9 days after ordering, the items still hadn't shipped, and there was no way I would have made the postmark date for the rebates on the products. I told them this, and their response was: "too bad" - no reason for the holdup, and items were showing "in stock". So I told them to cancel the order, and placed the same order from newegg. Newegg shipped the order by the end of that very same day. I AM NEVER BUYING FROM MONARCH AGAIN. BEWARE.
