Serious moaning about Newegg - one of my (previously) favorite retailers in existence.
Fraudulent charge on my CC a while back (which they caught before shipping) now means they will no longer ship to my home address. I have no idea why, but they won't. They can't explain it either.
A letter to customer service resulted in the response "please have future shipments sent elsewhere."I spent $5k/year+ with them for myself and my clients, and this is just ridiculous. Not only that, but they neglected to tell me that my orders were being voided when I placed them, so I didn't find out until I called to find out why I hadn't received them -- and after that, they still wouldn't comp me free expedited shipping (possibly because they won't ship to me at all, expedited or not).
Considering they built their business on the idea of outstanding customer service, this just seems wrong.
