Braun 7526 Electric Razor $65

I went to Sears today and saw all of these razors marked down to $65.

It is a linear razor, self cleaning, etc. I'm planning on going back and getting one after reading some reviews.

Sweet, hope this works in my Sears. I was actually looking to buy this online yesterday, but passed cause it was too pricey.

.. looks like a good razor, but why the hell is it equipped with a "cleaning solution cartridge"? This works against one of the ideas of an electric shaver (i.e., "don't have to buy any cartridges").

It's self cleaning. You set it in the charger and it cleans it. You need to replace the cleaning cartridge. You can alternatively clean it yourself.

If anyone else spots this price buy it. It's the best electric I have used, very smooth and quick. Worth every penny!

My brother has this shaver(I use a norelco), it's nice. I guess if foils are your preference, this is certainly a good one.

I did borrow it while he was out of town once(or steal it, lol), and I have to say, as nice as the self cleaning feature is, it can get costly/annoying to keep buying that proprietary cartridge(claims you can't refill it with alcohol, etc because their solution has a special lubricant for the blades). It cuts good, it has good built quality. One more thing to note...if you're coming from the rotary heads(norelco type), you'll notice it doesn't collect/trap hair as well.

I believe he paid around $120 for it and on sale, so this is HOT, nice find and share OP.

I am going to have to go by sears this afternoon and see if they have any.
I have wanted one for a while and you can't beat that price.

Went to Sears (St. Charles, IL). They had a few of these (I bought one). They also had 7005 model (for $55), which (judging form what's stated on the package) is essentialy the same except it's not self-cleaning and does not have a "low-battery" indicator.

Thanks for the heads up cyberkost. I know they had a lot of razors, but the one i mentioned was really the only one that caught my eye enought to do some research. I'm picking mine up today.

So I went to Sears today. I was planning on getting the $65 with the cleaner. I got there and the one without the cleaner had a tag of $25. I was like, psh, I'm not spending $40 for a cleaner. So apparently the cashier said that it was supposed to be $55 but it was marked wrong. Anyways, I got the one without the charger for $25 and I sprung for a replacement head for $12 (from $25). So, uber deal for me. Thanks for pointing out the one without the charger.
