Breaking Bad Season 5 - Official Discussion Thread

Did anyone else purchase season 5 of breaking bad on itunes and thought they were purchasing an entire season? I just noticed that they have Breaking Bad: The final season for sale... but I purchased the final season, it is season 5!

Seems like really awful false advertising when I paid as much for the first half of the season as I did for complete seasons...

Generic criticsm of tv/movie device: anyone notice how much developments in tv shows get conveniently covered in news coverage in the show, newspaper and tv?

They seem to constantly turn the tv on to whatever the latest thing they did is. This isn't new - I think movies decades ago did the same thing with newspaper headlines.

Didn't show any reaction by Skyler to what happened to Ted.

That just seemed to fit in that episode.

As great as this show is, sometimes they seem clumsy to me at some devices used.

That is perhaps the most interesting point to see this season, even moreso than how it's all going to end. Does Hank try to arrest Walt? Agree to protect Walt for a piece of the action? Cover it all up to protect Syklar, the kids and most importantly, his own career? The whole season and the endgame will be VERY different depending on what Hank does next.
